South Indian Style (Coconut Red Chili Chutney)

Ingredients

  • 1 coconut- grated
  • 8 dry red chilies
  • 5 shallots
  • 1 marble sized piece of tamarind
  • salt to taste

Method
Roast the red chilies, coconut and shallots. Add all the ingredients into a blender/food processor and grind with tamarind without adding water. Use as a chutney or serve as a side dish with rice.
