Kidney Beans (Rajma) Rice

Ingredients

  • 3 cups whole brown or red rice
  • 1 ½ cups kidney beans
  • 1 tbsp garam masala
  • 1 tomato, crushed
  • 1 bayleaf
  • 2 tsp salt

Method

Soak kidney bean overnight. Cook the rice with the kidney bean, crushed tomatoes, garam masala, bayleaf and salt.

Serves 5-6
