Fresh Corn Bhel
Ingredients
- ½ cup steamed american corn kernels
- 1/3 cup finely chopped onions
- ¼ cup finely chopped boiled potatoes
- 2 tbsp finely chopped capsicum (yellow/green)
- 1/3 cup chopped cucumber
- ¼ cup chopped tomatoes
- 1 tbsp finely chopped coriander
- 2 tbsp pomegranate
- ½ tbsp date – tamarind chutney
- ½ tbsp spicy chutney (made of mint, green chilies, lime juice, salt and roasted split chana daal)
- a pinch of roasted cumin (jeera)
- rock salt to taste
- chopped coriander for garnish
Method
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl to taste. Garnish just before serving. This recipe is not only easy and tasty but it’s very healthy as well.
